I found myself in South France this past week without an internet connection in the home where I was staying. Suffice to say that for that a startup where we rely on the Internet for pretty much everything we do it was essential that I find a way to connect at some point. After driving around for a bit I stumbled on a free and unlimited wifi connection at none other than our local McDonald’s!

As you can imagine I received plenty of flak from the team about my situation (how many burgers did I sell that day…those types of comments) but at the end of the day it was fantastic that I could get online with wifi for free even if I was in an area where the Internet is not nearly as pervasive as it is at home. So thanks to Mickey D’s for being there when I needed you!
