chi.mp 1.5.1 Released
Release 1.5.1 of chi.mp is now live. This release brings a beautiful modern look to your chi.mp public pages along with several other features. These include:
- Profile displays have received a significant overhaul. In addition to a new look the layout has also been changed. Your latest content from each service is now grouped together and where you are on the web and your contacts now are much more prominent.
- After logging in you may view your own profile from the perspective of different visitors to your site. For example you can preview the site as if you were an anonymous visitor, as one of your contacts, or as yourself.
- You may now configure email forwarding from your .mp domain. This feature let’s you point an email address of your choosing within your .mp domain to any external email address. All email that is sent to your .mp email address will be automatically forwarded to your other address.
- You may now subscribe to the same service multiple times. For example, if you have two Twitter accounts or three Flickr accounts you can aggregate your content from all of those accounts into your one chi.mp site.
- We’re now in the process of giving out beta codes to a limited number of existing chi.mp owners. You can easily see if you have any codes to give out by logging in to your chi.mp site and looking in your toolbar at the top of the page where you’ll see the number of invites you have left.We are continuing to work on improving the overall site performance. You should see a noticeable improvement when loading your chi.mp site with this release, and we’re going to keep working on making things move faster. We’re also working hard to improve both the speed and reliability of the content and contact synchronization as well.
That’s it for now. We’re working hard on the next release already, so enjoy the new features and we look forward to bringing you more cool stuff shortly.
