Chi.mp Release 2.0 Portability, Push, Custom Themes, Photo Albums, and Mini Blog!
Release 2.0 of chi.mp is now live! You asked for it, and we listened. Keep up the great feedback!
Mini Blog. Write and publish your own .mp blog. Each posting can be assigned to one of your Personas or choose Public so that anyone can read it. Just login to your Dashboard, click on Content and choose Mini Blog from the sub-nav menu.
Photo Albums. Create photo albums by uploading images from your computer. If you have a Facebook or Flickr account, albums will automatically be created from those services. Choose which Persona(s) can view each album. Just login to your Dashboard, click on Content and choose Albums from the sub-nav menu.

Custom Themes. Upload your own background images to your site and assign them to whichever Persona(s) you choose. Click on Personas, the edit icon, Theme & Avatar and Create New!
Push Status Updates to Twitter and Facebook. You can now post your status to your site and publish it to Twitter and Facebook. Let your friends know what you are up to!

Site Export. You can now export your .mp site which includes a zip file that contains a vCard for all your contacts, your photos, blog posts, portable contact records, statuses in XML and JSON files.
We thank you all for your input. The more you tell us, the better chi.mp can serve you! We really want to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Join the conversation at Get Satisfaction or email us at support at chi.mp and let us know what you think.
Thanks for using chi.mp to take control of your digital life. Keep having fun!
Aloha,
The chi.mp Team

It looks great! I love the concept. Way overdue and the time is ripe for this. This puts the power in hands of the user. How can I become a member of chi.mp? I want to evolve too!

Just got my beta invite and I’m already loving this service. The new features are great.
Are there any more content services planned to be added?
Thanks!

I may be new, but I see potential in chi.mp! And I will be around the active community. o.o. Whether you all like it or not. xD. =P.
I plan on using the Mini Blog feature for my writeups when I review something or break down wiki code to an extreme extent. What better to keep a log then my activity stream? xD. I like, I really like it. The concept is unique, the idea has been around but it is being looked at in an unique way.
I haven’t even looked at custom themes yet because I found one I like. o.o. And I like finding things I like without spending a lot of time with it. This is a good thing for me. ^_^. There is a wide verity of themes and ways to build them, I like that they are very easy to add/choose so far. I can see myself using the photo album as well, if it doesn’t limit albums like Flickr does.
Thanks for a unique idea.
Nick.
