Love your chi.mp activity stream!

Posted by Laurel Boylen on August 14th, 2009 at 04:10 pm

The point of your chi.mp site is to make it all about you!  We offer many features, but today I would like to write about the activity stream and what people will see when they land on your .mp site.

activity-stream

For me, I love bacon, interactive art & artists, music, flyfishing, chi.mp and topics related to the OpenWeb.  When you go to my site, you can see all of those interests in the form of feeds in my activity stream.  When something makes me laugh, I tend to blog a little which will also show up in my activity stream.  A few days ago, I blogged about my love for a Hall & Oates song.  I don’t even like them that much, but I wanted to express myself.  Not wanting to limit myself to the embarrassing moments in life, I also display feeds of bloggers who inspire me.

Further, laurel.mp provides links to where I can be found on the web such as Skype, Dopplr, FriendFeed, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, LinkedIn, Delicious, UpComing, LastFM…and, of course, email.

There is a lot more that you can do with chi.mp, we certainly aren’t simply a data aggregator, so check out the other features, and let us know if you need a post about what to do next.  We’re taking requests.

If you would like guidance in setting up your .mp or branding yourself, please let us know.   We’d be happy to support you!  In the meantime, here are a few links to help you get started.

    Laurel,

Both the links to list of features are going to 404 Not Found.
